Development of nxtControl GmbH

1996 - 2007

The team is formed around the company founder Horst Mayer. Automation software is developed jointly for over a decade in the SCADA/HMI/DCS and control engineering sectors.

2007

The team takes the opportunity to found a company, together with 2 customers, and for the first time to implement ideas under its own responsibility.

2008 and 2009

At the SPS/IPC/DRIVES Trade Fair nxtControl presents its automation software to a wide public. Several projects are successfully implemented with the software based on IEC 61499 for distributed control engineering.

2009

A finance investor takes a share of the company. The rapid progress in development and the highly positive market and customer reactions convinced tecnet capital Technologiebeteiligungsgesellschaft mbH of the potential of the company.

2010

Version 1.4 of the automation software is presented at SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2010. The partnership with the first OEM customers is formed.
